Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

i had started going to a new therapist around the end of may/beginning of june. i went inpatient in july and when i got out i was focused on php/iop and she started maternity leave.

she said she would be back to the office late february/early march. its the middle of march now and she has not reached out to me. i find it stupid for me to reach out considering that would be her responsibility if she wants my money.

therapy to me is just like having a friend to talk to because i dont have any friends. it was nice to have someone who listened and didnt judge.

It's possible it slipped her mind as she likely has a lot going on with the baby and whatnot. In my experience, therapists seldom reach out when you stop going. It might have something to do with patient confidentiality. I think it's worthwhile for you to message her and tell her how you feel during one of your sessions. And if that doesn't work, you can always find someone else

I would try an write her once. Could be she really forgot somehow, not on purpose. Or perhaps she is still on maternity leave.

I really wouldn't take it personally. she's on maternity leave, she's got a whole ass baby now, and that's gonna be her priory.

unfortunately, therapists aren't your friends. to them you are a client, they can't really form 'friendships' with their clients because it'll inevitably mess with their work. 🫤
I would just reach out to her in your own time and ask if she'll be coming back to work soon. 🙂
