I've been feeling better for two days which might be hormonal…so researched hormones for depression and found this, pregnenolone. You can buy it OTC. It is the precursor to various hormones including testosterone and progesterone and and has been shown to be low in depression.

A few articles about its mh benefits:

Here is the BPD research:

Here is a general article:

I'm a fan of it, its very inexpensive and worth trying. I just got some 50mg capsules and take about 15mg sublingual before sleep. Its a neurosteroid, specifically involved in brain repair.
Ive seen some criticism of this theory, but arguably chronic stress blocks its synthesis. If you read the wikipedia info on it, one of the major things synthesized from pregnenolone actually resensitizes GABA receptors. Its hard to explain GABA receptors but theyre strongly associated with emotional wellbeing. Normally I wake up ruminating, just chronic negative thoughts (high cortisol is actually what wakes you up) but it basically eliminates that.

I specifically heard about it from this channel, EONutrition. I also recommend his videos on thiamine. Sulbutiamine and benfotiamine are bioavailable forms of thiamine that I highly recommend.

Pregnenolone and flush niacin are my favorite things for sleep. Also Huperzine A, which like niacin really enhances dream quality. All of these are inexpensive, just buy the Huperzine as a powder and 500mg niacin capsules-- start at 50mg and work up so you get used to the 'flush.' If you get some Huperzine, don't take it continuously as I think it has a long half life and can build up in the body.

Amazing, thank you for this encouragement. I've not found it yet in any shop but might order online.

Today my solutino was getting WASTED.

Thanks for posting your reviews of this

Haha thats what I did yesterday, it does help occasionally.

I also recommend Skullcap for helping GABA, serotonin and dopamine. Just don't combine with alcohol, it causes nightmares via GABA. Its really remarkable if you smoke it, as its not very bioavailable orally.

Check this book out, I'm gonna make a thread on it
