For those of you considering partial or full hanging, do you plan on practicing passing out before your attempt? Is it thought to be helpful to practice experiencing the feeling to reduce SI?
I will just be using my hands so I will regain consciousness quickly after, so I'd assume the risk of permanent damage would be low.
Can anyone describe the feeling for me? How does it feel just prior to passing out, and when you wake up? Any lingering effects? How long were you out for?
Thanks for any help šŸ¤

put the rope around your neck and then pull the rope up using your hands, with a good pressure. you will feel how partial hanging will be like. full suspension hanging is impossible to test and is painful and uncomfortable because your whole body pulls you down which is too much unnecessary weight. partial literally does the same thing, but more peacefully bc of less pulling pressure. the only reason why some prefer to go with full suspension is because they're scared that they'll stop themselves from passing out because of survival instinct if they will just kneel down.

in my failed case, it felt the same like anaesthesia. slowly losing sight and everything becoming blurry last second. it didn't hurt but was pretty scary.
