i personally interpret this song to be about death setting a person free.

i like this one because of the chorus...

je dois partir
these are the last words
i'll ever speak
and they'll set me free!

... and this line from the second verse...

you know the sleeping feel no more pain

really, the whole song reads like a beautifully written suicide note.

lastly...

this one is kinda self explanatory, in that it's a fitting song to play as your personal extinction draws near.
i remember this song playing as i set up the rope for my most recent attempt. it's a haunting, melodic masterpiece; my go-to ctb song by far :>
