I think it would make sense if it could, i've heard eating too much of a few other things in one go or even drinking too much water in one go can end up kill you
Was wondering if eating like 5 pounds of butter in one go would kill you of something like heart attack or acute pancreaitis

Probably wouldn't kill you, if you even managed to eat it. The eating part itself is difficult, just like you can't die from holding your breath because your body effectively makes you breathe. Would give you gastrointestinal issues (I've only had it mild and it still sucked) and you'd spend a few days in hospital. Might even have to "surgically" remove it.

There are cases of people dying from overeating in food eating competitions, but it's incredibly rare and requires training to even be able to eat that amount.
