  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Does anyone have any information on portable gas tank burners? If you were to turn one on like this, but not actually light the gas tank, wouldn't the air produce CO and be lethal in a small room?

To expire in this fashion one must be sure, to be able of achieving a high concentration of CO in the atmosphere. Insufficient CO or being found prematurely could result in brain damage.

Yeah, you could put a big tank in a small enclosed car sealed with tape and use a CO meter to make sure?

Does anyone know what gas the gas bottle burner would produce when turned on with no fire? Does it produce CO or propane?

It produces the gas that is inside the cylinder. 😆

I wouldn't flood a room with flammable gas. Even if you aren't worried about other people something could happen to ignite it. It may not but still you might not want to chance getting caught in a fireball.

CO comes from the BURNING of a carbon based fuel.
