I think I could not stomach that. I had extreme psychosomatic pain in my legs after my psychoses in my major depressions for a few years and it was such a nightmare. Sometimes I even forget that I had this pain in the past. I hope it will never return.

Wouldn't such a torture leave scars? But I think in our scenario such scars won't follow. 1 year of extreme torture is just too long. I wish I could solve my major issues. I did a lot for it. But bro I cannot imagine the pain. And I mean torure like the one of Palestinians in Israeli prisons or torture that is done by the Hamas.

I think maybe I could stomach the torture if I wasn't such a mental wreck already. I think I would probably die. I was enrolled at college and went through a benzo withdrawal. This was extreme torture. But in our scenario the torture was just on top.

I have a pretty high pain tolerance due to chronic pain already. A year of torture probably isn't that bad if it would solve my problems. It wouldn't even cause lasting mental or physical damage, because it would solve my problems.

1 year of extreme physical torture will just lead to more major problems lol if we are talking extreme torture then lets go extreme you will end up disabled and shit if anyone goes through 1 year of physical torture and if not then it just wasnt extreme physical torture lol
so yeah going through all that will just make you more disable and give you extra trauma and hence not solve any of your problems
i know its a hypothetical question but it just doesnt make sense

True but made me chuckle. I already my answer thought my answer (no) would have been stupid.

Depends on if problems would be actually fixed or if they were just "fixed" for me by becoming oblivious to them.

If the first one, then I'll stomach 1 year of unimaginable pain despite already low pain tolerance if it means removing the animal-industrial complex from earth.
If it just means I become oblivious, then I wouldn't. There would be no benefit over killing myself.
