Poll: Does mainstream media do a good job at covering Trump's second term?

I think mainstream media is not doing a good job. They are not critical enough. They take the thousand bates he gives them and prefer to talk about theese bates with moral outrage. In the end it does not matter which name he gives the Gulf of Mexico or that he wants a new name for Greenland.

I don't watch/ read mainstream US press that often. But from time to time I watch parts of TV coverage and read about newspapers. For example The Washington Post or the LA Times. But I think also the NYT does not make a good job. They don't understand the gravity of what Trump is doing. I think the giving him a fair shot approach is a completely false approach. He is not an honest actor. Read Curtis Yarvin (RAGE), read about Project 2025. They are executing their plans in lightspeed. They overwhelm the audience and in doing so they hope to get away with it scot-free.

I really don't think the American people are even watching enough mainstream news anymore to even be aware of anything that's going on.

Source: Personal Anecdote: The store I work at: nobody ever seems to understand that there's a National shortage of eggs and I'm pretty sure both sides of media have been covering that extensively so the fact that so so so so so SO MANY people are blissfully unaware day in and day out of the ongoing egg shortage like "Hey why are there no more eggs?" Like gee, maybe pick up a goddamn newspaper at least! I can only conclude it must mean they are consuming absolutely zero news content of any sort.
