  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Are you afraid of death?

I died when I was a kid for a few minutes. And it's nothingness. No sensory input processing. No time perceived passing. Nothing.

Still, I do fear death and dying and transitioning. Though, under impossible circumstances, it's understandable one takes such a route. 😔

I tell myself I'm not afraid and I truly believe I'm not. But whenever I attempt to hang myself or stand on the ledge of a rooftop I seemed to always back out at the last moment. Not even sure if I was afraid to die or just fighting to live.

Just curious. I'm really afraid. It's probably just the fact of not knowing what happens after you die. Death is just so permanent it would suck if there's nothing after that.
In my belief, you can't register "suck" after you are dead. Or regret or anything else. You simply don't exist. It's hard/weird (and probably impossible actually) to imagine what that is/what that is like because all we do is think and we only remember being alive. But we werent alive 100 years ago, 200 years ago, 500 years ago etc and we're not upset about that. Because we didn't exist

No, I want it. But, you know, SI is stg that will kicks in whether you fear death or not. Anyway, I tend to think that, if there's life post-death, I'll finally find a group where I belong: the valley of suicidals ^.^

I'm with you. And if there is any God/divine entity in the loop, I gotta imagine they'll say, "Sorry dude, yeah I would have CTB too, let's try this again but better"

Not afraid of death itself. I'm certainly afraid of being in pain, and being alone for sure which I think are the most common feelings associated with death. But I think death itself sounds like a warm embrace, whether there is something after or not

I'm not afraid of not being alive but I am afraid of how the process of death may feel physically

I wouldn't say i'm afraid of dying. It's more if I mess up on CTB. I am kinda curious what is after death if there is anything after it. I am kinda worried that i'm going to miss out on a few things in life if I go.

With what happens after death being unknown, my only fear is that it won't be the nothingness, cease of existence that I hope it to be.

If God exists. I hope he understands I truly am in an impossible situation that he played a part in orchestrating. When I ctb, if I meet him, I just want him to understand I didn't deserve this fate. I want a second chance.

It's the process of reaching the state called death i'm afraid of, not the death itself. The process might be painful, but after that there's nothing.
