  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

You guessed it!
Share your poetry here, doesn't have to be poetry but rather some kind of expressive literature
Bonus challenge: Write your own poem

I'll kick it off with one of my own - sorry if its bad, I normally use poetry to express feelings so i don't really know how to write one properly.

"Darker and darker
The world has become

Dazing off
Like it's the end

Everything is like usual
It's just me
I'm the casuality
I'm the reason

They say the world is not black or white
I can understand why

This is not black

It was never white

It feels like it has always been like this

Everything is just becoming greyer and greyer

Is this it

Will i just disappear

Is this a countdown

I can't comprehend"

I cringe at my own poetry. But i thoroughly like most of Watsky's spoken word stuff. "Drunk text message to god" is a popular one I enjoy.

He's got a few songs that are relevant and incredibly thought provoking too, like "talking to myself"

Poetry for people like me and you are just writing a song when you lack musical talent. I think it's rather healthy to express yourself, even if nobody is listening. Music/poetry is subjective for a reason; so we all can engage in it and find our own pleasure in it.
I guess you could call it guilty-pleasure.

Sorry that this is NOT my poem. It is a post made by an anonymous person in 2014 in an app called Secret. Unfortunately I stopped using this app a long time ago, and I do not have a way of asking for the writer's permission to post. But I like it a lot and maybe others will enjoy it too. So I hope it is not too inappropriate for me to post this.

Fallen into darkness.
Trapped living in hell.
Can she escape this fate?
Only time will tell.

People whisper and gossip.
Demons point and yell.
She wonders if she can outrun them.
Only time will tell.

Do they know she's hurting?
Can they see she's not well?
Will they see the scars she hide?
Only time will tell.

Breaking from the pain.
Her eyes redden and swell.
Can the blood stop dripping?
Only time will tell.

She falls into a slumber.
A wicked locked up cell.
Do the evil see she's dying?
Only time will tell.
