Venting poetry(?)

Wake up hungover with a pit in my stomach and you on my mind
Despite everything we've been through, my death warrant is signed
I wish I could go back and change things, I really would
But at the moment I'm all caught up in a bind.
Now there's only one path I'm allowed to take
You won't like it, but I'm drowning in this lake
And if I have the chance to end this pain and take my freedom, I should.
