Please tell me easy and quick ways to CTB, preferably painless (its alright if its not, i don't care anymore), I've been suffering for so long and i just can't do it anymore. I've had depression for YEARS now, same with other mental illnesses. I've tried everything I've possibly could, medication, years of therapy and everything is just getting worse, I can't take it anymore, please. I've given up.

In absence of Nembutal, and not knowing how to assemble a Nitrogen tank/mask, this is the third best.

Welcome. You have a lot of company here. 40 years of multiple TBI's and 20 years of PTSD with multiple other mental illnesses... You're new here, I'd recommend hanging out for a while and gathering some information. I understand and empathize with your pain, but suicide is best done with careful planning to ensure success, failed attempts can make matters much worse.

Painless is best left to inert gas or carbon monoxide. Quick with easy access and relatively low pain is best left to SN.

Please hangout and explore the SN megathread. Do some research so you can better understand your options. I'm sure your failed attempt was very traumatic, I'm sorry you had to experience that. There is a lot of good support here, a lot of people that will empathize with your situation and offer help.

Thank you so much for your reply. It's wonderful to be able to talk to people who aren't judgemental about this and understand the pain and suffering that just living and breathing can cause.

Sadly there are probably no painless AND easy ways anymore, since Nembutal disappeared. Or I should say there probably are, somewhere out there, but they're either not known yet or difficult to access. All the currently spoken about ones have something that would probably fail one or both criteria. So you have to do your own research to see what you can accept.

Best options:

Nitrogen or similar gas - painless but not necessarily easy for those that aren't technically minded

SN - Easy to get hold of but getting all the recommended items that improve the chance of success and possibly reduce pain can be a chore. We don't know what level of pain it is with certainty

Various drug cocktails - tricky to get hold of the required medication for many people

And of course the more brutal methods are easy to do in theory but very hard to actually go ahead with, due to SI.

I'm afraid of SI. I'll be in a hotel room booked for 3 days. I'll take all the meds including the SN. Then once my body becomes desperate for oxygen, gasping for air, my SI (Survival Instinct) will take over and I'lll run screaming to the hotel lobby "call 911"

Edit: Maybe handcuffing to a bedpost is a good idea. It's really just those 2 to 5 minutes gasping for air and then you're unconscious.

geez. Now I'm scared myself. I have never been without air, and I'm not positive that I would do well in this situation. 3-5 mins suffocating is a lot.

Nembutal is the holy grail of painless methods but good luck on that, harder to get than many hardcore trafficked drugs lol.

Sn is a viable option as said before but you will endure some pain and discomfort before the end.

Other methods with varying degrees of pain are too unreliable for what you ask like jumping from high places as it could be either instant or take some time, there's a documentary on YouTube about the people who jumped the golden gate bridge and there's even a survivor.

Hey, I'm new here too. I'm finding the SN stuff so overwhelming and don't know where to start with it. And I'm the same with hanging etc…my SI is too strong. Just wish I could fall asleep and not wake up.

I totally get that. I mean if it was just SN pills we had to pop and then wait for it to do it's thing I'd be long gone. But even with SN there are so many precautions we have to take, to not throw up or get caught and all that. I have a pretty sensitive bowel, so that's another concern. As for hanging, again I'm afraid the fan might break or something But hopefully, i can find something soon

I know exactly how you feel. It's so nice to be able to speak to people about this without the judgement or the guilt trip of no don't do it. We are all in the same boat here and it's horrific. I just want to end my suffering. We do it to animals in pain so why not us. Good luck finding your way out

Thank you, and yeah it's really refreshing to be able to talk to people. I haven't spoken to anyone irl, because it'd probably only lead to more problems. The fake empathy and sympathy doesn't help either. Here everyone's straightforward and helpful and I'm glad i found my way here

Same. I know this place gets a lot of bad press but that's from people who don't understand the pain we are in. I'm very grateful to have this space

People have a very conservative, societally moralised view, and they're all too arrogant to broaden their scope of view. They need to realise that just because it's not a problem they're facing it doesn't mean it doesn't exist

Haha same here. I hadn't heard of it until they started trying to shut it down. I guess they did the opposite of what they wanted. And I know, it's very ignorant. We should have the right to choose and to discuss with likeminded people

I really wish that suicide is easy, I think that if there were easy ways to leave this world I would certainly already be gone at this point and I believe that there wouldn't be endless suicide method threads on this site. I very much understand just wanting to be gone so badly and I hate this society that is so focused on suicide prevention rather than respecting people's wish to die. None of us should have to feel so trapped here or stay here for a second longer than we wish to.

I just guess that if someone wishes to be gone all that they can do, is do their own research into methods to decide what is best for themselves as what is the best method depends on what can be accessed. Unfortunately there are no easy answers to this, and at least to me suicide is something which is so unnecessarily difficult and complicated.

Guys you honestly have to laugh sometimes. I got myself into a real state and planned to drive out to buy alcohol and try hanging again. Got in the car and 'Stayin Alive' by Bee Gees came on the radio. I burst out laughing and remembered how awful my last hanging attempt was. Think I'll hang on until I can get some SN. This suicide thing is such a rollercoaster isn't it
