I've spent several years now unable to do basic hygiene routines, maintain relationships, or fully support myself. Suicide has seemed like a natural option for a long time.
I remember my diary from being 8 or 9 reading "I am suicidal" with a crude drawing of me with the eyes crossed out. It goes pretty deep and I wonder if at a certain point it might be more compassionate to kind of... let it win? Just stop the constant fight to stay alive when it's a losing battle.
I don't feel the acute pull to end things right now, just a burning loneliness, but I wonder what would be so wrong about letting the next crisis just take me.
