Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I've been considering now that I've survived yet another fucking attempt placing an NJ on myself and pushing something like salt-substitute potassium. I've never personally placed an NJ as that's done by fluro where I work, which is not what I do, but I've placed NGs. If I just push it beyond the stomach and aspirate to check that I am in fact past, then I would be able to give myself a lethal dose of something (ie potassium) and I wouldn't have the ability to vomit. Even just making it into the duodenum as opposed to all the way to the jejunum. As long as I'm past the pyloric sphincter than whatever I give myself… And potassium based salt substitutes seem the most appealing. I've got my bowels absolutely fucked thanks to a year now of laxative abuse, so if I stop taking laxatives prior to doing it I wouldn't even be able to excrete it that way either. I've not set my eyes on it just yet, but I am absolutely starting to consider it.

Wow… I have never thought about this. I'm not well-versed in GI stuff but what would happen if you push it past the pyloric sphincter and your body wants to get rid of it? And I guess you'd choose something that doesn't get absorbed mainly in the stomach since you'd be bypassing it? Bc obviously the goal is for it to be absorbed and poison the body as much as possible.

Your body will still vomit, even if it is past the stomach, it just won't be effective in ridding the body of the poison. It can also cause diarrhea. Most things are still absorbed past the stomach. Electrolyte absorption occurs throughout the GI tract. That is why long term diarrhea can cause low potassium, the rapid fluid loss causes improper absorption and rapid excretion. Doing this would be a painful process as the body would be violently rejecting the potassium but unable to get rid of it quickly. And if I were to not get my potassium high enough to kill me I would be very, very sick until I could flush it out. I'm not sure if I'll go through with it as I worry about not being able to get my levels high enough because I run hypokalemic at baseline due to an eating disorder with laxative abuse. I've been severely abusing laxatives lately so if I had to guess my levels are probably pretty low right now.

Thanks for breaking that down for me! Yeah, that sounds really horrific, especially if you run hypokalemic at baseline.

😡😡😡 Fucking society. We shouldn't have to go through all this!!!
