We are all mostly aliens who have had a broken childhood different from others, that impaired our growth and our communication skills to a large extent. Many of us turned into introverts who have hesitated to interact with the others around us in our school, college or workplaces.
Some of us can smile yet be crying deep inside.
Laugh, and the world laughs with you; weep, and you weep alone
This is a thumb rule, if you are confident and bold, and your body language exudes a sense of determination, people will be naturally attracted towards you.
If you want people to know that you are sad, well, you are mistaken, 99.99% of the people will not give a damn to your emotions.
People gravitate to you when they think that you are attractive or being with you will make them cool or will be able to gain from your resources. When you are sad and suicidal, there's nothing to gain from you, rather they'll have to give time on you to console you, so you turn into a liability.
Hence, if you want friends around, act like you are strong, confident, positive, bold and determined.
If you ask me, my perspective is that, i like to stay low profile, because what's the point of having friends who don't really understand me or who can empathise with my pain.
I do have a few people though who have stood by me even after knowing that i am suicidal. It takes years to find such friends.
So, if you want friends, don't let anyone know that you are sad. Besides, we all have this site, where we can make friends with like-minded people in similar situations who are there to offer their shoulder even when they are themselves not strong enough.
