I seriously don't understand the complete lack of empathy in others. I've been shat on, bullied, walked all over, broken down and I still show compassion for others from all walks of life and yet people living their "best lives" can't even seem to hold a flicker of kindness towards anyone outside of their thick, inner circle. (Even then they tend to shun anyone in their inner circle who doesn't fit their image anymore.) It makes me sick to my stomach how far up their own asses the general public is, you can't even reach out to loved ones for help anymore without it being some controversial discussion on social media about how you shouldn't reach out. What are we as suicidal people, realistically supposed to do then? They don't want us to inconvenience them with our passing, but it's frowned upon to even give them an inkling that you are infact slipping and not doing well. It's a never ending cycle of "You are wrong, you are selfish if you end your life." But pity them if you ask if they have the time to handle what you're going through. I don't expect anyone to handle what I'm going through, but a simple "I hear you, you're not alone." Would be fantastic. Yet even that's not going to happen.

That being said, if someone tells you "I hear you, you're not alone." and they don't do anything to help you, they are just lying to you. Best thing to do is to tell them you saw through their attempt to make themselves feel better at your expense. They will get upset, but at least you won't be exploited one more time.

Sadly I don't think it's even a lack of humanity, because they can and will choose a selection of people to show humanity towards. It's something more abhorrent than that, they actively turn a blind eye towards us- stating now that's it to "protect their energy," or "their boundaries." I'm all for having boundaries but there's a severe lack of empathetic comprehension unless it suits them on that specific day. Social media has become the fuelling cause and a breeding ground of indifference to anything that isnt directly attacking them. I'd term that as pure, filthy, selfishness.

You sound like my father, lol. That's something he taught me growing up and it sticks with me, but if I'm honest even the acknowledgement of my suffering would be appeasing now- I know realistically the only person who can help me is ME and I'm past that point now.

Thank you, sweet thing! I'm sorry you're also in the boat of being pushed around and spit on when you'd give the world. It's comforting in a rather depressing way that we aren't alone, even under in the circumstances.
That being said, if anyone would like someone who would genuinely listen and show some bloody compassion, please feel free to give me a message. I may not understand your specific pains, but we are all on this site for similar reasons.

Oh absolutely, society is a big machine and if any of the cogs are misshapen or don't continue to turn, they're discarded. It's sadly even other people who I've helped in their darkest times that have now turned a blind eye to mine. We are punished for not being what others expect of us when they expect it and we as suicidal people, are labelled as the most selfish of all society. Ironic when a small majority of us are where we are because we've been routinely failed by those supposed to help/support us and now we see ending our lives as the better choice.

I am disgusted by the human species. Even more disgusted than I am a member of it. It's a big reason why I want to kill myself. I don't want to live here among humans anymore.
