Pentobarbital isn't like recreational drugs.
Most recreational drugs are easy to manufacture, pentobarbital isn't.

hah, exactly.
and the (lack of a) "returning customer" aspect probably isn't the most lucrative way to make and sell drugs. if youre risking your freedom by engaging in crimes such as production and distribution of drugs, it's at least made better by the fact that when you sell drugs, the general idea is that people will want to continue buying drugs from you. if everyone you supplied to died after their first purchase, i can imagine it wouldn't feel as worthwhile.

it seems to me that the people who deal in manufacturing and distribution of the kinds of drugs mainly used for a dignified death are a very special kind of unicorn. someone willing to put themselves at risk to help others with something that almost all people find to be "evil" and "taboo", even beyond the regular disdain for people who make and sell drugs.

I think you are right. But are there no ways to get this in Mexico or Colombia. And order with more people?

Mexico was a venue to get it years ago, because of the increase of foreigners coming to mexico and killing themselves in hotels using N the goverment put a heavy eye on the stuff and now only vets can get it and they dont give it away no matter how much money you offer.

Barbiturates aren't really any more complex to manufacture than say MDMA, and a lot simpler than LSD. The thing is there just isn't a big market for it. There are dozens of recreational downers from benzos to opioids and a lot of them are easily diverted from legitimate pharmaceutical products (benzos, oxy, pregabalin etc.). There's nothing especially great about a barbiturate high that users can't get from something more readily available and the demand from people wanting to off themselves just isn't big enough to sustain an illicit supply chain.
