The sad truth, people also just want to feel like saviors and how potentially getting rid of this site will cure the underlying problem of people self exiting instead of actually fixing the systematic hells of this world.

I only ever found out about this site because of some derp talking about how bad it is for likes. you can't "raise awareness" about a forum, preaching against it, without simultaneously increasing traffic towards it. guy said he wouldn't name it directly, and made up a fake name for it with the same acronym too, so it was easy to find. people are stupid.

same here. some youtuber moron was whining about the site, calling it S.S, complaining about how it's the worst thing to ever exist; and all the while as I was listening to him I was thinking that the website is the best place ever. Sounded like heaven in fact, going by the youtuber's description, even though it was a smear campaign (lol). oh hey, you're probably gone by now, hope your journey was peaceful and rad.

Hehe, i just realized my account was registered in 2022. I totally forgot about it, and totally forgot about this site. I honestly though my account was very recent, since I re-discovered the site after a youtuber went on a rant about some place called SS that was 'making people off themselves'

I did research on suicide methods, and never stumbled on this site. It took a BBC article I believe it was to realize something like this even existed myself. what a life saver.
