You seem to be saying that paedophiles are sick, born broken and don't choose to be sexually attracted to children. Ok. Do you really think that serial killers (for example) are any different? Do you really think anyone would actually choose to have a desire to torture, kill and dismember dozens of people, or is it more likely they're sick and born broken as well? Same goes for anyone else with a pathological need to commit violence against others... they didn't *choose* to feel that way, they're just sick. Of course, what they do about those feelings is a different matter, I'm just pointing out that a desire to be violent, like whatever a person's sexuality is, isn't something someone chooses.

I think that the people who have urges to harass people are showing a kind of empathy to others by committing suicide. They're trying to protect other people by taking themselves out and I think they shouldn't be shamed solely for their urges. It's fantastic when people with these urges are seeking help through therapy and learn how to suppress their urges. Still, it's sad that some of them see death as the only choice to do that.

Of course, it's a different story when a paedophile committed suicide because they want to avoid prison.

Yea being grossed out by something isn't a reason to out law it. The only reason to outlaw something is due to harm it brings others. Acting on pedophila with children harms the child so it being illegal makes sense. I very much agree.

I think anyone who says 18-year-olds are attractive but pretends that anyone who is 16 or 17 aren't are so full of shit. With that being said, I think the Age of Consent should always be the Age of Majority but I understand that is defined subjectively and has no basis in objective reality.

In some countries age of consent is 16 which is still ok i think. Of course there are countries where it is below 14, which is wrong.

I did not know about the female genital mutilation. I googled it, looked at a bunch of photos and medical diagrams and and and it is disgusting and horrifying.
