Help Partial suspension with closet door and non-rope ligature, please review my method.

I will be hanging myself with a pair of pants I've fashioned into a noose of sorts --- my head will not be slipping out of it, it will be tightened by me (not by a knot that tightens with pressure) --- with my closet door acting as my suspension. I have tested passing out, works great! Blackout in a matter of seconds. Once passed out I am in a bent knee but standing position.
The fabric is very wide, but how important is the placement of the fabric after you've passed out?

If you can pass out then you should be good, make sure the knot is right in your nape so that your head doesn't slip out while you're unconscious

I'm new to this and apologies if it's a dumb question, if you were passed out, what brought you back? Or were you in a position to where it wouldn't take you all the way?
