Partial hanging

I've found plenty goodbye threads that seem successful on SN. Are there any successful for partial hanging? I'm struggling with my SI to follow through and end up bruising my neck horribly. I feel like I fail myself. Maybe if I take plenty of meds before hand? If I took several Xanax and went to just fall asleep in a tight noose maybe I'd be able to hang in there a little longer. bum dum tiss ....

I know of at least one as another medic had a doa that this person did a partial. My friend described the scenario exactly as others have stated. I myself have successfully made myself black out just by pulling a leather necklace. All I would need to do is secure it to immovable hook, door. It took only about 30 seconds to black out. As I was coming to, the jerking motions started, a loud noise was in my ears and the numbness and tingling. I was shocked how easy and fast. I am going to practice taking it a bit further just to make sure. It didn't even leave any marks.
