Sorry for another question guys, i'm attempting tonight and trying to make sure I cover the ins and outs.

So partial hanging, I know u have to cut off the carotid artery. If found in under thirty minutes and the rope is undone does that mean the blood flow will return and ruin the method or will the blood flow still be cut off until resuscitation begins?

It depends on how long it's been since blood flow has been cut off.

If you are found quickly you will recover with no real ill effects because the brain can survive for brief periods of time without oxygen. You could survive but with brain damage as parts of your brain will essentially die from no oxygenated blood being delivered to it on time. But if you've gone a long enough time with no blood being delivered to your brain, then at a certain point your brain will not revive. With your brain being totally dead it can't tell your heart, lungs, liver and everything else which keeps you alive working.

And the thirty minutes isn't a hard deadline. You can become fully and functionally brain dead with no chance of revival but at thirty minutes it usually guaranteed to cause death. The closer you are to the 30 minute mark with oxygenated blood being cut off from your head, the more likely it is you won't recover

Hope this helps one way or another
