So a few hours ago i took 20× paracetamol a 500 mg, combined with 30 mg of diazepam and a drink with about 150 ml of vodka.
I do know that this is quite a painful way to ctb, but I just lost it. I couldn't do it anymore. The hallucinations I have are terrifying, and the pain in my chest is unbearable.

I have been throwing up nonstop for the last hour, my head hurts and i feel very bad. I don't know how long it will take until I die, I read somewhere that it can take up to 4 days. I'll be taking more diazepam so i can sleep through the pain.

I don't know if this will be my last post, but i wanna thank everyone on here. The people on here made me feel a little less alone in this world, and I am so glad that I got the opportunity to find this place. ❤️

how are you doing now? paracetamol od is really not a reliable way to ctb. i hope you're not in too much pain, but i know how painful it is. im worried it wont work and you'll have done irreparable damage to your liver. im sorry you have to go through this.

I imagine you will be fine if you have been throwing up none stop. Drink lots of water. If you feel really fuzzy headed, with a loud buzzing in your head, you have likely still got too much in your system.

20 pills is not enough i think to knock you out , its just enough to harm you and end up in hospital.

I'm thinking of you. This is one of the most painful and drawn out ways to die so I'm glad you threw up.

Going to A&E is probably the last thing you feel like doing but it might be worth it in case you risk damage x

I'm sorry you're struggling so much and in so much pain physically and mentally.

I know it goes against everything you're feeling right now but A&E might be a good idea. You were feeling impulsive and overwhelmed, you didn't have a chance to understand the risks. Paracetamol overdoses can be quite unpredictable. People have survived bigger ones whilst small overdoses have killed some. But one thing that is quite likely is liver damage. Especially if you've thrown up some of the pills then I do worry you will end up with liver damage but not the outcome you want.

If you go to A&E you'll likely be given NAC , it's just an IV antidote that usually takes like 12-24hr (different hospitals have different regimes). It's very effective in preventing liver damage at first, but not for long, if you wait another day or so it may not be . They can also give you antiemetics in hospital so you'll feel more comfortable.

Maybe give yourself the chance to avoid permanent damage for now, rest for a couple days until you can have a clearer head and think things through when your sober and not feeling so physically ill .

At the end of the day i'm not here to tell you want to do . And i wish you the best whatever you decide .

I'm so sorry you are having such a miserable experience. I hope you feel better soon! And, as others have said, there's no shame in going to the ER if you feel you need help to feel better and prevent lasting damage. (Hugs)

Hi! I'm just letting you know, I've taken 80 of those before and I was fine besides puking every two seconds. Though I eventually went to the hospital I didn't die. Please go to the hospital. This won't kill you and you will just feel really awful. I'm so sorry you're going through this. Just know this method is probably not the most reliable and most don't die from it. Going to hospital they will just give you medicine to help you stop puking as much and medicine to protect your liver so you don't get liver damage. Hope you feel better soon

i went to the a&e, the gave me the antidote, a strong antiemetic and sth strong to relive the pain.
i really didn't feel like going, but my friends forced me to.
i am still throwing up a little, and the pain is very bad.

It can't have been easy to go there but it sounds like it's for the best. I hope you feel better soon and home quickly. It sounds like an awful and painful experience.

im so sorry you had to go through this. there is absolutely no shame in going to a&e, it was the best thing you could do in your situation and you're incredibly brave for going even if you may not feel that way. i know how hard of a decision it must have been. i hope you're feeling better and that you don't have to stay in a&e for too long, im not sure the procedure for that kind of thing whether they just give u the antidote and let u go or if u have to stay for a certain amount of time? sending hugs <3

thanks for your nice reply. they are currently screening my blood, i gotta stay until the percentage of paracetamol has gone down significantly. i sadly need to stay there for at least today and tomorrow. max I'd have to stay is four days.

This method isn't really recommended if one wishes to succeed in ctb, there are lots of posts on here saying about how bad it is, there is a reason as to why it's not included in the suicide resource compilation. But anyway I wish you the best and I hope you don't experience any long lasting affects from the paracetamol.
