Hi :-) so I have set up my full suspension hanging set up and i feel confident but i wanted to get some opinions and make sure the knots look tied right and everything. I know this is posted a lot so i apologize haha
I am using a 12mm dock line that i've heard recommended here before, I got this cool little rope gun thing to cut some of the length off.
I tied a snuggle hitch to the dumbbell and then tied a stopper knot (i believe an ashley knot specifically). Do i have an adequate amount of tail left? And do they look tied properly?
Then for the noose itself I tied an arbor knot with the same stopper knot on the end. My door has a round doorknob and it closes And locks 100% all the way. I do sort of wish I had some kind of latch or something for my door for even more security but i'm not too sure how to install something like that, and maybe i'm being overly paranoid that I could somehow untwist the lock AND then open the door in a panic, I'm not sure.. I've been trying to practice putting weight and pulling as much as I can as well and it seems good.
Only other thing i'm a bit worried about is that I live in a townhouse complex with a neighbor connected to the side of my house, and they're almost always home. Unemployed mfs. (I say as i am one).
It's supposed to storm loud/hail tonight maybe that'll help a bit?? I don't know, They've never given any noise complaints but part of me is a bit worried I could be loud thrashing against a door, but then sometimes when I see others CTB i feel like it doesn't seem as violent, I think it kind of just depends on the person..
But anyways that's about it.. I keep really feeling like tonight might be my last night but then i don't know, feel so close yet so far.
