On the way (partial hanging)

I will attempt by partial hanging in a few minutes. Wish me luck! I am alone at home and no-one should interrupt. Some people do know I'm suicidal but I believe they don't have a clue on what I'm about to do. The tie is already around my neck. Hopefully this will go well and I will finally cease to exist.

Update: hanged for a few seconds, started to lose strength. SI kicked in and I stood up. Feeling like shit, almost fell into tears. About to try again.

Taking your own life is no easy feat friend. In fact there's probably very little that's more difficult. You shouldn't think of yourself as a failure.

I don't know the circumstances that brought you here. And though I entirely respect your decision, I just want to remind you that you aren't locked in to it. It's not a case of you have to do it or you're a failure.

I'm still getting ready to try again but this might not be for me. In which case, I'd have to go by ingesting SN or something else in a hotel room. Update: standing with a tie around my neck and on a hook. It's very tight and I can feel my veins. I'm scared I end up damaging my brain from not hanging adequately. Why do I have to be this wicked and fucked up? I've been up here for an hour already.

I had a 20 year old cousin (by marriage) who succeeded using partial by tying one end of a rope around his neck, the other end to a clothes rod in a closet, and simply leaning forward. I guess he was very intent on leaving this world. The only bad thing he did, maybe that he didn't think about, or maybe he did, idk, was to do it at his house where his mother might find him like that. And she did. He didn't hate his mother at all. I guess he just wasn't concerned about it.

This is where partial exhibits real drawbacks. Some succeed but many do not. Have you thought about full? Nobody should have to go through three attempts.

It does seem as though this method really is difficult to succeed with, at least it seems this way to me and I certainly envy those who managed to go through with it. It sounds horrific to me, the thought of ending up with damage from a failed attempt. But anyway, I hope that you eventually find the freedom that you wish for.

This is something I tried to do and failed multiple times. The one exception, I had used a headband with a knot in it. I was going nowhere so twisted the band round to try and loosen it.
Instead, the knot must have just rested in the perfect position because there was a few seconds of panic, then the next thing I know is regaining consciousness in a pool of my own urine with someone desperately trying to forcibly invade my chest cavity.
