The Black Irish is a term used for people from Ireland with dark hair, brown eyes and sometimes more tanned skin. May have been from Spanish voyeageurs coming over because the Irish are closely linked to the Spaniards.

And the Vikings were from Scandinavia (Norway, Denmark etc) in the North of Europe. So you very likely could be Black Irish with Spanish roots and have Viking blood mixed in you because the Vikings pillaged Ireland over centuries.

The Black Irish is a weird term referring to Irish people with dark hair and dark eyes, often thought to be from Spain/Iberian Peninsula. This is in contrast to the fair/red haired traditional Irish. However, its probable that all these genetic phenotypes have been present in Ireland for a long time due to successive waves of immigrants from various places from as early as the Bronze Age. The Fair haired phenotype may even originate from Scandinavian countries far earlier than the Viking colonisations.
