  • Hey Guest,

Today, OFCOM launched an official investigation into Sanctioned Suicide under the UK’s Online Safety Act. This has already made headlines across the UK.

This is a clear and unprecedented overreach by a foreign regulator against a U.S.-based platform. We reject this interference and will be defending the site’s existence and mission.

In addition to our public response, we are currently seeking legal representation to ensure the best possible defense in this matter. If you are a lawyer or know of one who may be able to assist, please contact us at [email protected].

Initially I decided to go to a crematorium and CTB there as I was aware it was not so far from the funeral place of my choice. But having read so many of the comments on this site, I decided not to CTB in the possible freezing cold - the weather in this country is generally shite... but to go to a hotel which I just booked. The hotel is 5 mins from the funeral place which is great.
I'll arrive about 1am on the day and CTB about three hours later. I feel really bad about the hotel staff finding me. Do you think they are used to this sort of thing? Should I put a large sorry note on some large paper on the floor when the cleaning staff enter? Also any suggestions as to how I could disguise any possible noises I might make aside from with the tv? Maybe do it in the bathroom with the shower running?

Agreed, that it could shock the staff with gruesome views and memories.
Instead of being found, you could as well arrange to notify the police through the use of delayed emails. At least, that's what I'll do for myself, but I'll choose a rented flat instead of hotel

That is a good idea. I will look at renting a flat instead and cancel the hotel.

I was also concerned about hotel staff finding me. I've decided that when I go to the hotel, I'm going to ctb in the bathroom. I will leave a note on the bathroom door saying not to enter, there is a body inside and to call the police (or something along the lines of that). I will also make sure the door is locked so that the staff do not try to enter. Hopefully this works and I will not be found by anyone other than the police.
