Oh sweet, not gonna be chucked into a mental hospital probably

I did some googling and the ones in Britain (where I'm from) seem to be very underfunded and not cared about and I'm not like schizophrenic or have bipolar so they won't care that I like to cut on my arms and have frequent suicidal thoughts and possibly a due date cause I don't have a knife in my stomach so I'm not extreme enough for them to care. Now I'm a bit more at ease cause now I know I won't have my life taken away from me buuuuut that fear still rings loud in my ears. Probably won't be chucked on drugs either cause those cost money and the NHS is practically in flames and they wouldn't want to spend their precious money on a basic white girl who thinks she's depressed.

Tbh it's my parents I'm now most worried about. If they find out then my mum is gonna be so sad and be really annoying in trying to help (typical mum behaviour) and my dad would be angry that his only daughter is using the "get out of jail free card" and not pulling herself up by the bootstraps. I don't want to disappoint them but day by day it feels like a heavier weight on my back having to hide this from them.

But hey, could be worse I guess. Thanks NHS! You and your increasingly useless services!

Off topic: have you ever thought of doing something with your art? I'm thinking of like Hyperbole and a Half. Illustrated stories like you post here. You could write anything from comedy to self-help and illustrate it.

I post actually decent drawings on like Tumblr and other websites but I don't link them here cause privacy. Been thinking about opening commissions though.
