Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I've personally saved screencaps of the method threads I had previously bookmarked, so I still have that information if the site goes down [whether temporarily or longer].
I may be overreacting. I apologize if I am. I'm so fucking scared. You all are my family. What am I going to do if you're not there to talk to and to listen to? Why can't people take care of their own fucking kids??? They buy these kids all the electronics in the world then don't give a shit - then when the kid becomes depressed (gee can't imagine why), then they accuse everybody but the person looking back at them in the mirror. I CAN'T lose this site. I need a hug .........

Is it because of this article? I always get a bad feeling whenever the number of SS viewers suddenly skyrocket.
Just in case a lot of pro-lifers are seeing this website right now, fuck you. Let suicidal people make a conscious decision to die, we never asked to be born especially into a shitty life. Take your toxic positivity bullcrap somewhere else.

I feel the need to put in my two cents. Mental illness is no different than any other illness - it's just the idiots who run this country - the god lovers - who want total control over what an individual does. If we have the decency to put an animal out of its pain and misery, why can't we help people who are mentally ill do the same. My time will be very short if I don't have access to this website - I will have absolutely no one.

What a trashy article. It's just another smear piece with their focus on people who run this website (thanks for dismissing us moderators though) and a few cherry picked members that decided to exercise their right to die. They don't lose one(!) single word about the right to die as an actual human right, about the ban on assisted suicide in most countries on this planet that gives this website legitimacy, what leads people to commit suicide in the first place and that many of us don't have a perspective for improvement. They don't talk about the overhelming support that's provided in this community. If these journalists think I'd be still here without SS, they're mistaken. But it's painfully obvious that the people who wrote this article never endured suicide ideation once in their life time. They argue from a place of ignorance and misunderstanding and they didn't even try to understand our perspective. It's odd, in this article they talk about us. Why didn't they reach out to some of the members in this community and talk with us for once. Why didn't they seek the conversation and try to understand our point of view? Why didn't they want to give us, marginalized and struggling people, a voice and a platform to talk about the systemic issues on this planet? What are they so scared about? That we give an actual legitimate and convincing case for the right to die? Maybe. I'd be surprised if that wasn't the reason they wrote this dismissing bullshit article without ever actually talking about the presented issues from our point of view. Disappointing but not surprising. The media once again did what it does best.
