• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Be it the UK or wherever, at any timeline in human history, take humans away and just let it be about an intelligent being. The whole universe in its entirety is NOT developed to handle any form of being held back. Be it the label of censorship or whatever term that is put on it, the idea in itself is a non-starter.

Through human history, Hitler, Stalin, Mao, you name it, it in the long term never not only made it but it general made the spectrum move the other way towards more freedom of thought.

One just has to look at our world and the dinosaurs, over 400 million years here with no true development. Then their end in a flash. This whole existence is made to move forward without restrictions and hopefully, if and that is a HUGE if, we humans are still around, we just may develop into a much less restrictive being.

I hope and wish that the powers in the UK and other nations would understand that they cannot stand against universal nature ever,

Walter

OFCOM can't do anything. They are just looking for scapegoats because people are CTB in a country that is going down the tubes.

I found this

And has one thing to say f*** you OFFCOM
"After the fine was announced, Aimee's sister Adele Zeynep Walton said families like hers had been "agonisingly waiting for action against the website that took our loved ones"."

If these people actually think that this website was the reason, I don't know what to say... People have been doing ctb since way before this website was released, people have always had problems. If anything they don't want to acknowledge that they either were the problem, or could've helped save the person. Even one good conversation can save a person's life, as long as you show that you actually care. Obviously this varies case by case, but a lot of people just want to be cared for. 🤷‍♂️

It is disgusting that Ofcom did this though.

i love it how they say the site is responsible but what created the urge to CTB in the first place?

oh wait the silence is so loud its deafenen.

society and future perpective is the problem.
but that is to hard to change so lets go for the easy target.

sometimes i do wish i could scream this to people.

they are fighting a syntom not the cause

Very true. People have always blamed the symptom, not the cause.
I mean hell, even Ozzy Osbourne got into trouble for the song "suicide solution".

Society will never understand that some people actually want their lives to end.

Its not a website or a song or a movie "MAKING" people do it, it's a choice.

But people become so overwhelmed by grief, and maybe by guilt (For not stopping the suicide) that they blame websites like this one.

I have no idea how this fine is going to be enforced, I mean, like we have said, we're not in the UK, so what are they going to do?
