Hi guys,

I'm planning to ctb this December. I'd go today if I could but I have some real financial incentive for my family.

Partial hanging has always been my go to, since I seriously started considering ctb as an option. To give it a crude trial run, I located my carotid with my fingers while lying down and gave it a reasonable violent squeeze for a few seconds till I started to pass out.

Holy shit, what a warm feeling. As the sound of the ceiling fan faded, I got the strangest sensation that the hand on my neck was not really mine, as if it were someone else. I freaked out and let go at this point and my head underwent a cocktail of wierd warm feelings I really can't describe. As the blood flow returned, it was a wierd moment when I felt like I was returning to control my body again.

I've tried it before but never went this far. I feel like I shouldn't be doing this casually as I do have a mild headache now and I don't want to be brain damaged for the tiny remainder of my life

But yeah, 9.5/10 it was fun
Hoping for a perfect score in dec

So you tried partial? I tried it as an alternative and nothing. The sound got muffled with a ratchet strap only. It means I need to apply more weight or tighten the ratchet more.

tbh this gives me anxiety, I haven't tried with an actual rope yet.

I think your problem might be rope placement, I presume it's easier to get the sweet spot with fingers rather than the rope. But if the placement is correct I think the pressure required should not even be that uncomfortable.

Maybe try two cornhole bags on your carotid as the nighty night method suggests?

Hey,

This is fascinating, thank you for sharing. Can I just ask how you located the carotid artery on your neck?

And second, how you squeezed it? Was it a case of digging your fingers into your skin until they were on either side of it before pinching it shut, or more just applying pressure to that part of your neck as a whole?

Either way, good find. I find it funny you rate it so high, like it's pleasurable even?

Thank you,

Okay,
1. Make a U shape cup with your thumb and rest of your fingers and try to locate two pulsating spots just below your jaw. Slightly easier for me with face looking up.

2. I applied pressure to those exact spots.

3. It was not pleasurable, but if this is what the end feels like it wasn't scary at all, hence the high rating.

It takes a couple of tries to get the spot exactly right. If the spot is right then the pressure needed should be low enough to not interrupt your breathing. I did this lying down, see if that helps you

I'll figure this out everyday this week. Thank youuu so much! Is it okay for me to reply here for advice for my updates, if it's not too much to ask?

Thank you so much for this

Just like @airconditionedtodie I struggle to get it right so with this l hope I'll finally be able to find the sweet spot!
Also, have you noticed any "side effects" after practicing this? (headache, fatigue, struggling with focusing...)

Thanks again 😊

I did have a mild headache for around 20 mins after that, but now it has been 24 hrs and I don't have any lingering effects. I am not sure about the risk involved with just touching unconsciousness, but I would be careful

I touch my neck with thumbs, and it just gets so uncomfortable I can't even press anymore. Just annoying.
I used folded socks for strangulation. I don't have any other stuff yet.

Just to be clear the feeling I got was not dizzy. For me it was like my brain shutting off, a feeling I've never had before (I've been dizzy, this was not dizzy).

Hey do let me know if you find a setup that works. I'm really trying to maximize my comfort here. I wonder what would be the best ligature would be, comfort wise

I would consider even 30 young (for me) if social interactions didn't feel so heavy and I weren't so damn alone. Every conversation moves like me being ugly and awkward is the elephant in the room. I am kind-of okay professionally and financially but year after year life feels so bleak.

I do kind of hope I don't get promoted at work this year so people think I offed myself because of career disappointment and not because I'm such a loner loser. But I think they'll know 😂, idc

Video youtube: HOW THE CHOKING GAME KILLS DEMONSTRATED
Maybe this one too (works for me) self-induced syncope.
The Syrian girl who ctb looks at peace. God bless her. It gives me hope that this method will be comfortable.

Oooh it was frightening no?

I love that my quote was in French, cheers 🍻

It was not frightening at all. Disregarding nembutal, opiate overdose and intert gas asphyxiation, this might be the easiest way to go.

So when are you planning to ctb

I just hate the part where I feel like my head will explode

This December (as the post mentions, financial reasons). It fills me with glee that my parents and brother will be set for life with the amount I'll leave for them. I could dance!

Once the blood leaves the brain via siphon and the noose gets tightened there's no feeling at all. Many even enjoy it and die by mistake. They can ban things and push everyone around, but everything has already been given by nature.
I had some hallucinations like a dream when I did self-induced syncope safely on my bed.
I woke up thinking how come I was working using my computer looking for things and ended up confused, but then I remembered everything.

So was this a test run? What was the setup?

I haven't had dreams/hallucinations yet as I barely touch unconsciousness with my hands. I've heard from several accounts that the last dream is supposed to be beautiful.

It's not a setup I think.
Just a German video on youtube 'self-induced syncope' or something like that.
It has to be done carefully. It can be used foe anything you think it can work with if done right. I used a bed or I will wake up with bruises at least lol.
