"We are living in a simulation" is a metaphysical claim that can neither be proven nor disproven. And there is no need to prove or disprove it, because from our point of view nothing changes at all whichever is true. It's like the claim that the universe was created 5 minutes ago with a "built in" history. It's not worth worrying about things like that. Just get on with life. (Or with death if you prefer that.)Everything feels fake . I feel like we are in a simulation..
Yes, it's our brain protecting us from pain . The more I isolate the more I disassociate toSame, and I feel like it's a coping mechanism for when life is so unbearable it's easier to completely detach and not care. Like I don't even want to "reattach" at this point. Also, in my case at least it's a result of extreme isolation.
I dont . Raw dogging my sufferingDon't do any drugs, or to much alcohol. I'm just helping here, and preventing more suffering
It's true!Everything feels fake . I feel like we are in a simulation..
This actually happened to me todayohh i get that a lot, good ol disassociation/derealization. some days i look at meself in the mirror n go "... wait that's me?" or i look at meself in me peripheral vision n it just looks like someone else, very strange feeling. once i got startled by meself! personally, i prefer lookin at me hands rather than me face.
ye can actually do a lot while disassociated! sometimes it makes chores easier, because it fucks with yer time perception and can occasionally give ye an out-of-body feelin, so chores don't feel as tedious :D
Yes! I always feel like I've come out of a comaI always find myself questioning if any of this is real. Sometimes I feel like all of this might just be some dream I'm having and the real me is lying in some hospital bed somewhere, stuck in a coma.
