Hello. I am wondering if my gun will charge a successful attempt — it's a .38 smith & Wesson do you think it will work 🥺

I feel it's quite risky as to absolute efficacy. Personally, I wouldn't trust it to get the job done.

I initially wondered the same. The first poster however kind of said that it should do fine, so I left it.

I recall seeing yesterday's thread of the .500 Smith and wesson and one thing about that beast is it will cause tremendous blunt force damage that will turn the brain to mush.

So imagine in the video the guy shoots off the gun and the bullet doesn't Pierce the body armor. However, it still manages to destroy everything behind it. Which means an intraoral shot is guaranteed to work in this caliber of a gun. I mean, it's just going to obliterate everything.

That's what I thought. Was personally thinking of pairing it with SN or falling off a tall building?

Ahh, so you think it will be like a blunt force trauma kill?

It will be both. It will pierce through any human , of course. So the video I'm talking about is one where very high level, very expensive body armor was used for the shot. So behind this body armor they had kept like blocks of tons of stuff which had torn apart just from the blunt force.

The tester said that even if you used body armor against this, it would still smash all the bones and organs in your body behind the impact even if the bullet didn't Pierce. This means an intraoral shot would turn the entire head to mush. Meaning no chance of failing or being left as a vegetable.

Everyone is allowed to make their own decisions. That's what having autonomy is after all. I wouldn't risk it with a .38.

Yeah, a .500 S&W cannon lol. Yeah, that would definitely get the job done, and then some, I believe. It's a beast. Right up there with a shotgun, I think, or darn close, anyway.

Ohhh okay. Can I See the Video? So the .38 would do this or the .500?

Ah I see, my friend has a shotgun-I even took some pics with it, it is terrifying but that's what gets the job done. :D

The.38 is not as powerful.it will need more precision for a good kill shot.

This is the video I was talking about ,

@DoomCry Idk. Never gave it much thought. I'd expect any expanding hollow-point in a .44 would get the job done.
