• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

idk why but sometimes when someone reply or quote me i dont see it in the notifications.
also kinda hard to see it through all the react notifications i get.

idk if it is a bug or not ,even if not , how to notice it in the notifications?

ditto.. it must be a bug or some thing.. they need to fix it some how.. i ended up turning on the option where it automatically watches any thread i reply to which kind of helps to mitigate the problem i think..

okay so, i think maybe i found one instance where the bug is maybe triggered.. Some one will reply to a person (not you) in a thread, but then they do an other reply again and this time they are quoting/responding to you, but when they send it the forum system just merges it with their previous post (forcefully edits it on to the previous post) that was replying to some one that isn't you, and i think maybe the system thinks it already sent a notification trigger for that post so it doesn't bother sending a new one out because it doesn't trigger for merges/edits..

so if that is true, then it still helps to enable the option in preferences where it automatically watches any thread that you reply on.. that way even if a person replies to some other person first you will still get notified.. the down-side obviously is that you will get pinged even if a person is just replying to the thread and not specifically you, but it hasn't been a big annoyance for me so far, and some times i want to check on what some one else said any way in that thread..
