• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Dunno, all I feel I can do is sending you an internet hug. I read a bit through your situation and despite also having autism I don't really know what ideas to offer, considering you have tried bonding with other autistic people already. I personally did manage to make some friends, one is 99% autistic too, with two friends I can have interesting discussions about the world and philosophy, and then some relatives who I used to meet sometimes when I was still healthier. I used to have a hiking buddy but my illness made it impossible to meet up with him. So I don't know, autism for me didn't make it absolutely impossible to have friends, but I did experience having loads of trouble making actual friendships in school. At best I had acquintances back then.

I personally like having autism, but I don't like living in a world where people are cruel and egoistic. In such a world autism is pretty terrible, I just can't ignore all the evil out there and it's killing my will to live.

I went to economics for my uni that was pretty much full of people that I had 0 chance of connecting with. They were just wastly different. I also had 0 interest in the field but was forced to go anyways..
With programming folk I can connect a lot more easily regardless of one's background.
Any chance for you to join any uni groups that might be a bit more of your alley?
