New here, sorry if I make mistakes - Possible methods for my country?

Hey, i'm new here. Sorry if I make formatting errors or anything else.

My entire life relies on one other suicidal person right now, and if that person goes, I go. So i want to have an idea of what I can purchase or use just in case I need to escape.

I'm in the USA, no tall buildings nearby but a pretty well-used road. Theres a bridge that i'd say drops around 20-30 feet onto road - never heard of any deaths from falling there though. I have plenty of bedsheets and my house has 3 floors. I live with my parents and they both own handguns - not sure what kind though, look like pistols from what i've seen. Plenty of knives too, no rope.

OD is generally a no-no since my parents inspect everything I purchase online, so drugs you can get at pharmacies or prescribed are my only option.

If anyone could provide easily accessible and reliable methods with my current resources and opportunities, it would be appreciated!

If you want the method with the highest likelihood of ending it, steal one of the guns and then drive off into the middle of nowhere at night. By the time people realize where you are, it will likely be to late to stop anything.

Your next best bet is hanging yourself. Buy some rope at a hardware store and either go to the bridge or find a suitable tree, in the middle of the night once more. Hang yourself there. You could also try hanging yourself in your home but then you run the risk of someone stopping you and you'll likely traumatize your parents when they find your body. And if the stop you before you properly die there is a chance you'll survive only end up brain dead

Your last resort should be chucking yourself off the bridge head first again at night. Head first you should hopefully knock yourself out and then die with no pain from an untreated fracture skull/spine/neck before anyone can stop you. But this method is most likely to fail and hurt the most if not done right. If you dont knock yourself put, you'll be in extreme pain for however long you last and if it takes a while to properly ctb someone may find you. Then you'll earn yourself a trip to the hospital and then a psych ward.

I don't really think drugs like that are recommended for ctb, sadly leaving this world just isn't that straightforward, if people could ctb in such a way then the drugs would soon be restricted as this society is so anti-suicide. But if you are looking to read about the different methods on here then there is the suicide resource compilation, I really wish there was very easily, accessible and reliable methods, anyway I hope you eventually find the freedom you are searching for.
