Hi! I'm very new here been reading for a while. Many many failed attempts over the last 10 years, most recent where my slipknot wasn't sufficient and I ended up with broken arms and a lot of bruises and judgmental sympathy nods from psych staff that then just give meds and bloods each week to check I'm taking (which can be cheated by taking triple the amount 18 hours before). I digress; reading up a lot more and I have easy access to all required for SN method but have no stomach due to gastric bypass a couple of years ago so considering tourniquet. Just wondering what the thoughts are please? People seem to be pro-SN but would this be possible? Thank you angels xoxo

I have heard it's possible to take SN via rectal suppository, but there is a risk of expelling it before it's absorbed. I don't know of anyone here who has used this method though.

Nitrogen/exit bag is another method you could use.

But wouldn't your body absorb the SN one way or another, despite your bypass ?
Surely having a bypass doesn't mean your body is now immune to ingested poisons ?

Hey thanks for reply! I can't absorb much so have iron, vits etc each month. However, I've upped my codeine intake each day and that seems to work for a while but I just vomit and feel nothing. Poison is probably immune perhaps? Hence my asking. Thank you x

I can stretch my tube that's now my stomach but it takes so long like years. SN is seeming the least painful for my family but also tourniquet would be with less risk of a fail for me.

I wonder if you could drink 10ml, wait a few mins, drink another 10ml, wait a few mins, etc, until you have drunk the full SN drink ?
Have no idea if that would work ? Just a thought....

Maybe yes. I wonder how long and how much my body does actually absorb? Failing that I could slip it into my IV (uk poster btw so free healthcare lol) x
