• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Is it normal in canada to just play loudly one of their atrocious construction site radios. One of them squeaky ones for ours on end right inffront of hour window. He is in his yard but we are right next to his house. He sits in his yard all day with his little radio till 10 pm and its annoying. I have to retreat in my bedroom half of the day. And I pay 2000 dollars for this condo

I'm not sure that there is really a 'normal'. All people are different. We all probably have annoying habits. My neighbours parrots are pretty vocal. Sometimes it's funny. They have the telephone ring pretty well mastered. Other times, when I need to concentrate, it drives me up the wall. That's nothing though, compared to when I lived near student halls of residence. Regular drunken arguments in the streets in the early hours. I did eventually complain but- what are they really going to do? They said they were working with police but, the police aren't going to bother with a bit of noise when they have other serious crime to deal with.

It's kind of tricky really because- unless it's over a certain noise level and, if it's not at an anti social hour, I doubt he's actually breaking the law. You could try to talk to him but then, there's always the risk of creating bad blood with someone you live right next door to. I'm sorry though. It can be maddening- I know.
