basically, I took over the fatal amount of paracetamol last night, and threw up about 8 times within four hours of doing so. I can't go to the hospital or access any help, and whenever I Google help for the overdose- as I am in pain and regret it slightlly- it just tells me to go to the hospital. I tried to call the non emergency line but they started asking for full name and date of birth and it scared me- as I live with my parents still (I'm 18) and I don't want them to find out. Should I just hope for the best that my liver keeps working? I'm really not sure what to do and have nobody to turn to. Any help or advice would be appreciated.

One of my relatives did this. The advice really is to go to the hospital as this can damage your liver, unfortunately. They will ask you if it was intentional and you can say no you just had a bad headache.

May I ask, how young is your liver?

edit: Sorry, I missed that you were 18. Anyway, Being a young 18, and assuming you don't have any increased risk factors for paracetamol hepatotoxicity (malnutrition, chronic alcoholism, advanced age, chronic liver disease, possibly taking other certain drugs), your body should be quite strong and resilient to the damaging effects. What to look out for will be another bout of heavy vomiting in the next day. If that happens, suck it up and go to the hospital. I am not a doctor and anything I say should be viewed in that light. I wouldn't do this again.

Read about it yourself here:

. Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Op is not online anymore. Hopefully he changed his mind regarding seeking help, hospital or emergency room.
Op says he vomited 8 times within 4 hours after ingestion of the drug, which should have purged a good amount.
The only other thing the OP could have done at home is ingest activated charcoal, which is readily available.
Ctb using Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen is heavily discouraged, as it is usually ineffective, and terribly painful.
Hopefully, the Op did not get liver damage.

feeling much better now, I haven't visited the hospital but just sort of hoping I didn't get liver damage, I think I purged almost all of it anyways

I am praying that that your liver is good.
