need opinion

So was gonna do it tonight but i have realized it would make more sense and benefit me more if i just waited til Saturday so i have 2 more days here

i wanted to tell yall my plan and see if you all had any suggestions on how i could improve it

so my family will be leaving the house early and i will have a minimum of 4 hrs to myself, possibly up to 6-7 so plenty time to make sure i die

i was going to rummage through the pill cabinet and steal the prescription muscle relaxers and take a few of those to like calm down any nerves or anything and get me tired then i was gonna use a belt or cord (which would be better?) lodged in the hinges of my closet door or at the top if its long enough i haven't measured that yet, and partial hang

its either this or shallow drowning ive been having trouble getting myself to hyperventilate enough for that tho thats why i have this as a backup plan

any suggestions or improvements that could be made?

First and foremost dont rush your dates u need to be 100% sure that no one is going to interupte you for around 1h (overkill but its better to be sure than sorry) and u feel mentally ready.

For hanging u want something soft that can lie flat against your neck. Anything with any cutting force u will be risking a very uncomfortable time. Make sure u are confident enough that your rope wont break or anything like that happends, u are risking severe brain damage with hanging. I suggest u read up on the partial hanging here on the forum so u avoid suffocation as partial is a bit more complicated than fs hanging.

I generally would try to avoid any backup plans or combing methods. Its just way better to make sure that your method of choice is done correctly and u are not risking any form of trauma.

i dont have an actual rope i have cords, and shoelaces would they still be okay?

Both will be fine. Belts, shoelaces, ties anything thats not "sharp" (steel wire for example) and cant cut your head off will be fine, just make sure your ligature of choice can hold your weight (for partial hanging its about 80% of your weight u will be pulling).
