I really need to commit suicide as soon as possible as everyday is like a f..ing torture for me every minute every hour I feel like hell. I have my own reasons and found my method which is shallow water blackout. I really love going this way but the thing I realized is it's not possible in cold waters even in summer the ocean I'm going to try it in is still going to be super cold and more so I can't stay till then anyway. Thought about doing it in swimming pool but don't want to be saved by life guard and suffer more. I was also thinking about drowning like jumping from a bridge but the thing that makes me afraid again is that cold freezing water makes your chance of rescue higher as it shuts down organs and keeps more oxygen for the brain and there have been cases of drowned people being rescued after one hour. I also thought about some deep and not so crowded lakes I had in mind but I really have no Idea where their deep part begins and even how I can get myself into those parts as with this freezing weather I can't swim to reach that area. I like SN as well but can't really see in myself to be able to get my hands on it. I searched wet suits and they are kind of expensive but not that much. They are supposed to help one swim in cold waters. For the last try I I thought about tying myself under a boat with some ropes but that would need some skill in how tie knots that I don't know much about and still the cold freezing water would make that hard. At the same time I feel like winter and cold weather gives me such a courage to commit. Need your opinions. Thank you!

You can do it anywhere if you learn to pass out by alternating between hyperventilating & holding your breath for as long as you can.

"The accidental drowning of a Sacramento area yoga teacher in a shallow pool at Asha Urban Baths has raised questions about Wim Hof's breathing technique that involves hyperventilation before holding the breath for an extended period of time.

The death of Aaron Pappas, 43, follows another accidental drowning a few weeks ago by an Israeli man who was meditating, face down, in a shallow portion of the Yuba River.

Hof's website contains a warning: "Never practice the method near water, before or during diving, swimming, taking a bath or any other place where it might be dangerous to faint."

It is currently 19 degrees F where I am. By about midnight tonight, the temp will sharply drop to 8 degrees F.
I could easily get drunk off my rocker and wander outside into the bitter cold darkness....
I'd probably pass out and not feel a thing....
not even the shivering, but gotta be really damn drunk to reach that level of
hypothermia oblivion, otherwise it will hurt like hell

This seems to be a great way! I looked up the resources you provided. Do you plan on just holding your breath or alternating between hyperventilating and breathing? I read that SWB can happen just with holding your breath as long as you can. I know it sounds silly, but I am neurodivergent and am not a professional swimmer, so I am afraid I will fuck up with trying to hyperventilate and hold my breathe. I imagine if you could get a hold of a benzo, or drug that produces euphoric effects, this will be an almost painless way to go. I doubt any way is completely painless but it's less violent.

No, you have to hyperventilate as well. You start hyperventilating naturally when you swim/physically exert yourself.

SWB really is completely painless, hypoxic blackout is different than an ordinary one.

Hey, if you don't mind, when you have time, can we PM about SWB? I am assuming then that you're not going to ctb in a bathtub which at the moment is my only option for water.

I got dizzy many times doing this. Just like hotel said, diving as long as I can (ty mammalian diving reflex) and hyperventilation when up to catch a breath. Repeat. I like to imagine it's a competition.
Hyperventilation skews the breathing reflex and by breath holding and exertion comes hypoxia.
The only thing that comes to mind in mention of cold water (not sure if it's relevant) is that cramps are more common if you're not in shape, I imagine a warmup and a magnesium tablet would lower that risk.
And also, if you want a wetsuit, you then need a belt and weights as well cuz the suit makes you positively buoyant.
In my humble opinion, one should feel comfortable in a body of water, swimming/diving for this method to be successful. Common sense, but I wanted to mention it.
Sorry I had to comment.
