• Hey Guest,

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I first made this account around two years ago, and as you can see, I'm still here. Why haven't I killed myself yet? It isn't that I've since found some profound appreciation for life. I've had moments where I've been doing a little better here and there but I can confidently say that, since making this account, I have never once thought "I'm happy that I haven't killed myself yet."
A little while ago I realized what is holding me back from seriously commiting to a method and plan is avoidance of pain. Every method I've read up on has made me think "I don't know if I want to do that, it seems like it would be too painful." I know SI is a thing but I think this goes beyond that. I'm generally very cowardly when it comes to pain (I've never even cut myself. the worst I've ever done in terms of self harm is biting my arm really hard). and I think on an objective level I have to get over this fear if I want to seriously commit to a method.
Has anyone experienced something similar to what I'm talking about, and if so, what did you do about it?
