Need Help Brainstorming How To Make Gunshot Suicide Less Traumatic On My Family

I'm posting this with a hope that some kind strangers will give me ideas on how to leave my body in a way after shooting myself in the head that won't completely devastate my immediate family.

I mean locations, times, that sort of thing. One idea for instance I've had is that maybe (although hard to pull off without my own vehicle) I would go up into the mountains and die there so my body wouldn't be found for at very least a week (at worst) or never/ after several months or years (at best)...

Does anyone know maybe a simpler way that doesn't involve me taking my family's only mode of transportation?

don't use a shotgun, don't shoot urself in ur house, shoot urself in a location that you'll be found but by someone who will be old enough to act responsibly about it. if u live in a rural area it could be as simple as going outside of ur house and walking a couple blocks down the street into a secluded cul-de-sac or parking lot where you can do the deed, family won't find you but won't go out of their way to look for you because within the next few days someone will find you and alert the family. you don't want them holding false hope that you're alive in those two weeks they go looking for you in the mountains or worse, you never get found. it's the least you could do (offer an explanation to ur disappearance instead of just going off the grid)
