I suppose there's an argument to made in that. Have you read the rules? If (when) you do, you will find it says do not post sources. It, also, says that, when it is necessary, to try and do it in a "left-handed kind of way" (I'm paraphrasing). That's what everyone else does. You know the big website that sells everything? Instead of writing it's actual name in a post, a lot of people call it the "jungle" site. Get it? Or, the "South American river" site. It may have something to do with indexing in the search engines, too. I don't know for sure. But, if you use actual names of sites (that are necessary) in postings, search engines pick up those actual sites that were mentioned in the posts here on SS, and they may get indexed higher in the search order. But, again, I really don't know. It's what the rules say to do. You can always post your questions regarding this policy in the Forum Suggestions Thread and I'm sure a Mod will be happy to explain the reasoning behind this policy.
