i'm planning on taking SN tonight, with meto an hour before... the only problem is i share a room with my mother. i'm hoping to drink it just after she falls asleep, and then go to bed myself. she definitely won't wake up during the night or anything, i could only be found in the morning. is this safe or do i need to be alone ? i don't want there to be any visible signs so i'm not found

I don't recommend doing it in a shared room. You could shake, move and everything. I think that you should try to find a better place to do it, where you are not disturbed in 12 to 24 hours ideally.

I definitely don't recommend committing suicide with another person in the same room. It's too much risk. It's better to make your plan depend on things you can control and you can't control if someone has already fallen asleep or is in half-asleep state they can wake up from easily. Also your mom might get a PTSD.

Even with meto there is still a risk of vomiting so you could be heard. Also SN is reversible if you are found early enough. I would not risk this.

Another humble vote against. Ur best chance is going for a night walk to a forest or isolated place, provided u have one near ur home ofc.

Some of the symptoms of SN once you lose consciousness is seizures. Which is not quiet at all. Also, vomiting is still possible even if you take antiemetics.

So, it's risky to do it when someone is at home. Especially in the same room o:

SN poisoning is, in practice, easy to treat. Antidotes like Methylene Blue is readily available in many emergency care facilities. It's highly effective in reversing Methemoglobinemia. Being found during the onset of the symptoms of SN poisoning increases the possibility of being resuscitated. Recovery is usually fairly simple and easy, at least physically.
