Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

for those if you that are actively in therapy and have a plan, or are planning, to ctb, how much do you mention to your therapist?

i have a therapy appointment on thursday (which i previously thought i would be dead beforehand) and i dont know how i can talk for an hour without mentioning or revealing how suicidal i actually am bc of how much it has been influencing my decision making, behavior, etc, especially over the past week or two. i typically down play the severity/frequency of my thoughts and lie about having a plan as to not jeopardize it, which i will probably do again, but i think it may be particularly difficult this time.

Since I might get some more therapy soon, I've been asking myself the same question. Sadly, I haven't found any answers yet that satisfy both of the following conditions:
  1. Not jeopardise the chances of therapy being useful to find a way to actually cope with all the shit in my life – or hell, who knows, make it even enjoyable. Although that seems like an utter impossibility unless things were to change 180 degrees somehow, I get a 48h day and unlimited motivation and energy to do all the shit I need to in order to make that a reality
  2. Not raise any alarm bells and be institutionalised just to suffer endlessly with no end in sight.
Maybe someone else has some answers to this.

yeah it feels like a bit of a waste of time at points since im not able to really fully engage with my therapist and I feel more drawn to ctb instead of trying to actually improve my thought patterns, behavior, life, etc.

I'll never admit I'm highly suicidal in front of a therapist. Too risky. The less they know, the better it is. And who knows, your therapist may be suicidal too ?... I read that suicide rate of doctors is very high (especially women).

Weird since in the general public it's 3-4x more men who commit suicide. Maybe it's due to women making up ~80% of mental health professionals, not sure if the numbers you refer to are normalised or total.
