These are all my favorite bands I can think of.

I really love boysetsfire! I was insanely happy to see them live in Berlin after they had paused for many years and I had thought they might never play again (one of the band members had an accident and almost died). I also love Evanescence. I was supposed to go on a concert in April 2020 but it kept being postponed due to Covid. Now it's supposed to be in March, let's see if it actually takes place..

At the moment, a Slovak band called Collegium Musicum is my favorite. They made alternative art rock during the 70s and early 80s in Bratislava, Czechoslovakia. Their "Konvergencie" album is (in my opinion) their best one, but all of them are great.

Most of the members are dead now as far as I know. They sadly weren't very popular and therefore not much info is easy to find.

Favorite singer would be Pavol Hammel who sung with Collegium Musicum and did solo work.

Vomito Negro is a symptom of the Yellow Fever. I have no clue why the band chose that name (they are Belgian EBM band) but they make really great music and it has dark vibes overall. Really recommend for anyone who's into EBM.

I'm into too many genres to get only one top-pick. Alice in Chains, Sepultura, OutKast, Rakim, Infected Mushroom, everything. oh and I can crack a million Megadeth jokes. fucking love 'em. Suede, Quasi, Pavement, Built to Spill. Flying Lotus, People Under the Stairs, Odd Future, and its lengendary Earl Sweatshirt and Domo Genesis. though Elliott Smith and Tool are a long-stay.

also my odd taste for atonal, No Wave music. I was a die-hard Sonic Youth fan in HS. Voivod was close to that but their past lead singer literally makes me wanna laugh. turns a metal band to punk. I'd rather stick with Lamb of God lol.

I wouldn't name myself a Curehead but I like them. also watching Robert Smith's feud with Morrissey lol.

Slowcore is such a beautiful genre. The White Birch by Codeine being my all-time favorite.

Edit: not tryna be an asshole. but everyone hanging out at Rush or Blue Öyster Cult forums are motherfucking jerks and I'm one of them lol. and like, Post-rock is fun stuff. if you like Bark Psychosis I recommend checking out Neurosis too. they're more Post-sludge but apparently everything with a "post" on them are in the same family.

For my favorite band ever it's probably The Civil wars, I'm really sad they broke up (the band, I don't think the two singers were ever dating). Apparat is a pretty close second. From Japanese singers I like Yuki Kaijura and Kokia (Yuki Kaijura is mostly a composer but she does have her own solo stuff too)
