You ARE an intelligent person adn never ever let anyone tell you differently. All my life I have worked with, seen and dealt with folks and those that usually came across with so much "book smarts" were in reality not the sharpest knife in the drawer, and they just acted that way to cover up what they really were.
Now you on the other hand, you ARE smart, kind and you care about others and that is one of the signs of intelligence.
