Regarding the side effect I can send you this link. This is the package insert of Meto, it lists all side effects and how often they occur.Hey there, thanks for posting. I have a couple of questions: I've read there are some bad side effects from taking metoclopramide. What are they exactly and how do you minimize? Are there alternatives to meto? Also I take Seroquel and read it can keep N from acting properly. Would anyone know how much time is needed off it in order to get it out of your system? Thank you.
I'm not sure how to minimize all the side effects, but you could of course get medication to counteract the symptoms of the side effects. But of course everyone reacts differently to Meto, some have no side effects at all, others quite many. I would do a test first to find out how strong the side effects are for you.
As an alternative to Meto you could use Domperidone + Ondansetron + Mosapride in combination. In theory, these three have the same efficiency as Meto. But I'm not sure what dose to take. You would have to read the package insert of the individual medications.
