Hello, first post here, pretty certain the time is coming within the next month, depends how things go. I live in the UK and I am likely going to go with charcoal burning. I have some large sheets of plastic which I plan to build a tent thing with. I have a disposable charcoal grill, and I am going to get a couple more when my parents are away in around 2 weeks time (I am an adult but I still live with my parents).

I am going to go far away from home and find somewhere to do this. I still have no idea exactly where, but I am going to look around on Google maps for a good spot with nobody around. I will leave a note in an envelope for my parents which will say to only open it once I have been confirmed as dead, as I wouldn't want them reading it once they realise I am gone if my attempt ends up failing.

This part I am not too sure of yet: When I can feel myself getting nauseous or light-headed I was planning on calling the police and letting them know my general area and my name, so news can reach my parents ASAP so they aren't left worrying. But at the same time I want to be certain that I am gone so they don't come looking for me and find me before I have had a chance to die.

How does this sound so far? Anything I should do differently?

Hello fellow UK sufferer. If I ever pluck up the courage to do it, I'm thinking I will try and set up a delayed email to the police informing them. If I botch it, I'm guessing I can cancel the email. (Don't know how to do this yet but pretty sure it is possible.)

I don't know much about your method but I think waiting till you feel light headed/nauseous to ring the police may be a bit risky- I imagine it might be like going to sleep- kind of hard to pick the right moment to do it- too soon and they might find you and stop you. Too late and you might have already passed out.

I'm sorry life has brought you to this point. I hope you are able to find peace, whatever you decide.

Thank you! I agree, I will find another way to do it. The delayed email is a good idea, I will look into that. I hope you are also able to find peace too
